Drawn in a freehand flowing line, the black and white portrait is coloured with watercolour brushes in whites, greys and charcoals, over a stone background. This is a sketch rather than a detailed drawing - what we draw will depend on the quality of your photo and what we can see. The poses that work best are natural looking moments, rather than smiling directly at the viewer - so looking down, to the side or from behind. We sketch from the perspective in the photograph and don't include any background details unless requested. The illustration is coloured and digitally printed.
If you've asked for a digital proof, your illustration will be sent to you via email for you to check. We offer up to 3 amends to your original drawing. For further changes there will be an additional charge.
