This craft kit is sure to brighten up the winter days with a warm glow! You’ll be creating a constellation-inspired lampshade using the Broderie Anglaise embroidery method.
Broderie Anglaise is a beautiful embroidery technique you might recognise from clothing, originally made popular in the 19th century, where holes are created and stitched around to make designs and patterns (it's a lot simpler than it might look!).
We’re adapting it to this lamp as we love the way the holes let the light shine through. You'll use the template and instructions provided to embroider star constellations onto your fabric (or you can adapt to include your own favourites!)
Then, using the materials provided, turn your fabric into a lampshade for an LED tealight (also inside your box).
